ACA’s Private Equity business has since 1998 raised over a billion dollars in AUM. Over the years, ACA has become recognised as a foremost African-focused PE firm, with very strong presence and networks across the continent. ACA manages 4 private equity funds invested in 7 sectors across Africa.
African Capital Alliance’s pioneer real estate fund, Capital Alliance Property Investment Company (CAPIC) raised $175m in 2008 to invest in real estate opportunities across Africa. The Fund has delivered new retail spaces, commercial offices, residential and hospitality assets in Nigeria and Ghana. The Fund invested in the construction of Cornerstone Tower, a 12-floor energy efficient office building in Lagos, Nigeria. The tower is the first commercial building in Nigeria to achieve EDGE certification.
Set up in 2007, ValuAlliance, ACA’s asset management subsidiary has unparallel expertise in building, growing and protecting wealth. ValuAlliance manages mutual funds and provides investment management and advisory services to institutional and retail clients.
